What are special features of Kubuntu 9.04
In my last article about feature of Kubuntu, I received many comments downgrading the usage of Kubuntu as it had many bugs. Here is new release of Kubuntu 9.04 and I am sure many users will find it better. Here are some of the features that you will like using Kubuntu 9.04.
1. Kubuntu 9.04 includes includes KDE 4.2.2, which is the latest version of this desktop environment. It has refined KDE workspace, new plasma widgets, return of the optional “Classic Desktop” motif as an option, improved version of system tray, and other features.
2. Kubuntu 9.04 allows software management that can be done within System Settings.
3. Kubuntu 9.04 has Quassel as default. Quassel is a new IRC client.
4. Kubuntu 9.04 has the updated version of KTorrent as 3.2.
5. Kubuntu 9.04 is now available for the lpia architecture, which makes it okay for you to have KDE on your Intel Atom based netbook.
