பாரதியார் கட்டுரை
மஹாகவி சுப்ரமணிய பாரதியார் ஒரு ஈடு இணையில்லாத கவிஞர். தமது கவிதைகளால் தேசபக்தியைத் தட்டி எழுப்பிய இந்த தமிழ்ப் புலவர் ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி. இதோ இந்தக் கட்டுரையில் மஹாகவி பாரதி இந்த தேசத்திற்கும் உலகத்திற்கும் கிடைத்த மாபெரும் பொக்கிஷம் என்பதைப் பற்றிக் காண்போம்.

பாரதியாரை நவீன தமிழ்க் கவிதைக்கு ஒரு முன்னோடி என்று கூறலாம். கவிதை மற்றும் உரைநடை இலக்கியத்தில் அளப்பரிய புலமை கொண்டிருந்த மஹாகவி பிறவியிலேயே அதீத சிந்தனையையும் முற்போக்கு சீர்திருத்த எண்ணங்களையும் கொண்டிருந்தார். இந்தியத் திருநாட்டின் விடுதலைப் போராட்டம் மற்றும் சமூக சீர்திருத்தத்திற்கு இவர் தமது எழுத்தின் மூலம் ஆற்றிய பணிகள் மகத்தானவை மற்றும் பொன்னெழுத்துக்களால் பொறிக்கக்கூடியவை.
மஹாகவி சுப்ரமணிய பாரதியார் 1882 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 11 ஆம் நாள் சின்னசாமி அய்யர் மற்றும் லக்குமி அம்மாள் தம்பதியினருக்கு மகனாக தமிழ்நாட்டின் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் எட்டயபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார். தமது பதினோராம் வயதில் பள்ளியில் படித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதே தமது கவியாற்றலை இவர் கவிதைகளின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.
ஒரு கவிஞனைப் பற்றி குறிப்பிடும்போது பாரதி பின்வருமாறு எழுதுகிறார்.
கவிதை எழுதுபவன் கவியன்று. கவிதையே வாழ்க்கையாக உடையோன்,
வாழ்க்கையே கவிதையாகச் செய்தோன், அவனே கவி – பாரதி.
பாரதி ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி. இந்திய சுதந்திரத்திற்குப் பல்லாண்டுகள் முன்னரே “ஆடுவோமே பள்ளு படுவோமே அனந்த சுதந்திரம் அடைந்து விட்டோம் என்று பாடி ஆனந்தக் கூத்தாடினார்.
பாரதி ஒரு வீரக் கவிஞர். பயமென்பதையே அறியாதவர். ” அச்சமில்லை அச்சமில்லை அச்சமென்பதில்லையே! உச்சி மீது வானிடிந்து வீழுகின்ற போதிலும் அச்சமில்லை அச்சமில்லை அச்சமென்பதில்லையே”. என்று பாடினார்.
இந்தியா பல்வேறு சமஸ்தானங்களாகப் பிரிந்திருந்த காலத்திலேயே இந்த தேசத்தை பாரதி ஒன்று பட்ட இந்தியாவாகப் பார்த்தார். “சிந்து நதியின் மிசை நிலவினிலே சேர நன்னாட்டிளம் பெண்களுடனே சுந்தரத் தெலுங்கினில் பாட்டிசைத்து தோணிகள் ஓட்டி விளையாடி வருவோம்.” இந்த வரிகளில் இந்தியாவின் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களை ஒரே வரியில் பாரதி இணைத்துள்ளதைக் காண்கிறோம்.
பாரதி ஒரு பன்மொழிப் புலவர். ஆங்கிலம், பிரெஞ்சு, வங்காளம், இந்தி, சமஸ்கிருதம், ஆகிய மொழிகளில் புலமை பெற்றிருந்த பாரதி தமிழ் மொழியின் மேல் அளப்பரிய மதிப்பும், அன்பும், காதலும் கொண்டிருந்தார். ஒரு பாடலில் “யாமறிந்த மொழிகளிலே தமிழ்மொழிபோல் இனிதாவது எங்கும் காணோம்” எனக் கூறியுள்ளார்.
பாரதி இந்த தேசத்திற்கும், தமிழ் மொழிக்கும், உலகத்திற்கும் தனது கவிதைகளால் புரிந்த தொண்டு அளப்பரியது. பாரதி 1921 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 11 ஆம் நாள் இந்த உலகை விட்டு மறைந்தார்.
Bharathi Essay
Bharathi was a forerunner of modern Tamil poetry. With his proficiency in both prose and poetry, Mahakavi had futuristic thoughts and reformist temper right from his birth. The massive contribution Bharati made for the freedom movement and social reformation in India through his writings are notable, unforgettable, and inscribable in golden letters.
Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharati was born in Tamil Nadu’s Thuthukkudi district in Ettayapuram. His parents were Chinnasamy Iyyar and Lakshmi Ammal. He expressed his poetic talents at the tender age of 11 when he was at the school.
While talking about a real poet, Bharati says, “All those who write poems are not poets. Those are real poets who deem poetry writing as their very life and make poems of their own life.”
Bharathi was a visionary. He forecasted the future in his writings. Several years before the freedom of India, Bharathi wrote, Let us jump and dance as the country has attained happy independence.”
Bharathi knew no fear. He sang, “There is no fear, no fear, no fear! If the sky breaks and falls on our heads, even then there is no fear whatsoever.”
Bharati saw India as a whole even when it was segmented into several princely states. In a poem, he sang, “On the river Sindhu, let us ferry in boats with the beautiful damsels of Kerala. During the ride, let us sing in beautiful Telugu language.” In these lines, he covers many states of India.
Bharati had proficiency in several languages like Bengal, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and French along with Tamil. However, in all his reverence and admiration for Tamil, he sang, “In all the languages I had known, there is none as sweet as Tamil”.
The contribution Bharathi made for Tamil language, India, and the world is indeed massive. Bharathi left this world on September 11, 1921.
