Karna makes his final sacrifice
Vineet Garg describes Rahul Dravid as the Karna if we take the analogy of Mahabharata related to Indian Cricket. He says that Rahul Dravid, right from the start of his career, has been overshadowed by equally deserving and shining players of Indian Cricket, but Dravid out of his sheer passion for the game, relentlessly worked to pursue perfection.
He sacrificed his batting number for the cause of the team. He served as the Wicketkeeper for the team (two World Cups) and also opened the innings many a times. Vineet says that Dravid is one of most determined and focused players of his generation and the whole Cricket world acknowledges this fact. He has remained one of the most performing and promising batsmen overseas.
Vineet wishes that Dravid continues to serve Indian Cricket in one capacity or other and impart his vast international experience to the youngsters who are not that much attracted to classic art of the game.
We present Vineet’s views on Rahul Dravid’s retirement, which has conveyed a message to all the Cricket lovers with an undertone of helping the team as a whole.

ENGLAND lost grip on the match after excellent FIRST 3 hours. Pitch is little bizarre this time at WACA. Any other time, with Aus 6/317 on day 1 @PERTH. I’d have said , England will lose. But on this WACA pitch, there wasn’t a slightest of sidewise moment, neither off the seam nor in the air.

Obviously India are underdogs but opportunity is there to make count as we have best Indian pacer in team, Zaheer Khan. He can really do for India,,,and he can do what he does so well, it’ll be up to batters of India to do it.

I watched Perth Pitch image today through Channel 9 TOP cameras today and I’d say I was lucky to see those HOLES,,HUGE HUGE HOLES which immediately made recall your description of the WACA pitch and why it happens every time when you were there in 2011/12 in 3rd Vodafone AUS-IND test match,,,in which you mentioned how player’s bat were getting jammed in those in some matches played at WACA. WACA is my favourite ground. I just love. And I love it even more when Australia loses there. After India smashed them in 2007/08 in WACA under Kumble,,, AUSTRALIA have lost 3 and won 3 at WACA(including that match)—2 RSA VICTORIES 1 INDIA VICTORY 2 ENGLAND ASHES DEFEATS AND 1 INDIA’S HUMILIATION IN LAST TOUR Under DHONI.
I’ve supported Indian cricket team from 2002/03 to that 2nd test match against England(I guess in Mumbai) right from bottom of my heart. And that WACA VICTORY mean to even greater than 2011 WC victory. and just one test earlier defeat at SYDNEY was as hurting as 2003 WC final defeat to Ozi’s.
I’ll live that WACA win in my cricket memories all through my life.

Dhoni is supporting only youngsters espicially those which are playing for CSK.Dhoni has destroyed the carriers like Sehwaq,Ganguly,I pathan and even Gambhir.They all sailing in the same boat.
AS For as m.vajay and Rahane are concerned,they both are still unmatured for test cricket espicially for overseas.
Gambhir and sehwaq would have been in the test team in place of vijay and rahane.
Yeah, Viru and Gauti SHOULD have been. Now they will sing this Jo’burg performance for years to come which is result of couple of things in my mind:
1.ZAHEER Khan bowling beautifully,,or should I say Dangerously.
2. Poor bowling by Africans, Specially Steyn. I don’t think he has ever bowled this badly in his whole Career.He was Too much outside off, which these already afraid Batters left comfortably while people calling it their patience,,,Or he sliding down the leg side. The last OUTSTANDING thing I remember him doing is KNOCKING OVER another career with name RICKY PONTING in his 2nd last test match at Adelaide oval.
He humiliated Ponting with a beauty and Ponting even lost his balance and fell on the pitch. I remember commentary went like this;

I believe more than two top scorers of the series(WARNER 476, CLARKE 335, NOW HADDIN 366) He is their best and consistent Batter in whole series. He has been the difference between the teams alongside JOHNSON AND HARRIS in the bowling department.
