He was state Badminton champion and played Cricket before his father commented on his good looks and asked him to join acting. He started as a hero in films but later on turned towards negative role before finally taking up the challenge of working in TV serials. He holds the rare distinction of working in 12 languages and performing all his dialogues and scenes on his own.
He says that he loves to give his 100% in whatever field God makes him to work. He says that though he does not have any formal training in acting, but youngsters should take some courses before trying their hands in the acting career.
Tej Sapru belonged to the family of actors but he said that he has worked hard to enjoy his career.
