2. My mother was giving me tea. (मेरी माँ मुझे चाय दे रही थी। ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।)
3. You were coming to my home. (आप मेरे घर आ रहे थे। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ।)
Helping verbs used: was, were
Affirmative: use of was with singular; use of were with plural and you (plural).
I was doing my work. (मैँ अपना काम कर रहा था। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।)
She was getting ready for the school. (वो पाठशाला के लिए तैयार हो रही थी। ਉਹ ਪਾਠਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।)
