Peacock is one of the most beautiful birds that you will find commonly around you–its size makes it spottable easily and children can relate to it, its feathers and particularly to its voice whenever you could hear them. During the rainy season, they are particularly vociferous.
I have found that a short rhyme or poem about a peacock is quite easily picked by children because they themselves want to do the things that it does–sing, dance etc.
I have tried my hands on writing a nursery rhyme on a peacock–I hope it will be liked by children and parents alike.
